Last December 2nd at the Brancaleoni Castle in Piobbico “Piobbico, tastes, flavors and colors of the territory” was presented, a book of recipes to give voice to those who have lived and live Piobbico. A project born from an idea of the teacher and chef Roberto Dormicchi, and promoted by the Crainox company.
As our owner, Walter Pazzaglia, states, “Every commercial reality, every company, is part of a territory in which it has the duty, and in my opinion, also the pleasure, to integrate. We wouldn’t be as we are if we were part of another social context, if we weren’t in Piobbico, from Piobbico. In this land the Crainox company was born and raised, in close contact with people and traditions that we want to enhance and pass on, because they are part of us. For us it is not a simple corporate mission, but the belief in the power of integrating, of networking, of creating synergies”.
The volume collects the tradition of a territory that must be preserved and does so through the recipes of fourteen local ladies and the contributions on the culture and naturalistic aspects of the country from some excellent testimonials. The final objective of the publication is not to lose an important culinary heritage and above all to contribute to promoting a precious territory such as that of Piobbico.
